Jamie and John's Blog

John and I were leaving to play softball and had been gone about 20 minutes when John realized that the regulation softballs were still in his car at home. We drive home to find Jackie Boy out on the tiny ledge over the garage. He had scratched/chewed his way through the upstairs window screen and climbed out onto the roof!! We know he's a nervous dog and he doesn't like to be alone.. but HOW COULD THIS POSSIBLY BE BETTER?!

On Wednesday, March 31st, 2010 we closed on our very first house! We're home owners now! We love our new house--even if it takes us months to get everything out of boxes! A huge thanks to my mom, who stayed with us for 3 days and cleaned, boxed, and moved us across town! We couldn't have done it without you and we're so blessed to have someone so giving of their time! Thank you so much!! Also, thanks to our wonderful friends Casey Gilvin and Lindsay Holzwarth (soon to be Gilvin!) who happened to be in town making wedding plans and were willing to take 4 long hours and help us move the heavy stuff ! Couldn't ask for better friends! You guys are amazing! We'll be getting change of address cards out asap- come and visit us and see our new home! Love, Jamie and John

We came home to this little treat past midnight after a long day. Jackson Garbage Gillispie. If you look at the garbage can, you'll notice he managed to pull the entire bag out of the plastic container without knocking it over. This wasn't his first time, people.

My Great Aunt Ima Sturgill turned 95 years old this February! She still looks young and beautiful and as you can see, she is loved by many! We love you, Ima! Happy Birthday!
